This week our food circle made:

1. Jambalaya (shown above)

2. Lentil and squash salad

3. Coconut ginger soup with greens 

4. Beet salad with walnuts and feta

5. Chicken pasta bake 

We each cooked one meal and went home with five.

Our families swapped three meals this week. Julia got a free meal because she made food for all us last week!! And Adam’s family will be rejoining us next week after an end-of-year hiatus. We made: 

1. Hot chicken sliders with slaw

This week was a little different. We didn’t plan early enough, and a few of us had to bow out of meal swapping for the week, but Julia had already made her meal! This beautiful curry carrot soup pictured above. Julia delivered her soup to every

1. Baked potatoes with cheese, sour cream, broccoli, and more!

2. An Asian mushroom soup with all kinds of unique mushrooms.

3. Homemade Bolognese and pasta.

4. Our meal (rice bowls with roasted veggies and tahini dressing)
Cooking some root veggies and brussels for a quinoa bowl to trade with our friends tomorrow. Planning to pair with avocado, chèvre and a tahini lemon dressing. I’ll be recommending fresh greens and a poached egg on top, too! For anyone t
